Your tasks
- Supporting ongoing projects in the area of interim and final storage, as well as waste conditioning
- Development of technical solutions and concepts
- Development and evaluation of project processes
- Inspection and declaration of waste containers
- Radiological and material characterisation of radioactive waste for the Konrad repository
- Loading planning for waste containers and processing of schedules and campaign registrations for the conditioning of radioactive waste
- Implementation and coordination of container acceptance tests and cooperation with nuclear experts
- Representation of interests vis-à-vis customers, authorities, consortia and suppliers
- Documentation and processing of project documents
- Technical support for sales in customer acquisition
- Creating and analysing requests to subcontractors
Your profile
- A degree in engineering or natural sciences or a comparable qualification
- Relevant professional experience in waste treatment (interim storage / final disposal) and knowledge of Konrad repository conditions
- Experience in drafting authorisation documents for the disposal of radioactive waste waste
- Experience with national and, where applicable, international legislation in relation to
- Transport, storage and disposal of radioactive waste are an advantage
- Planning and organisational skills as well as a high sense of responsibility and quality awareness
- Independent, efficient and structured way of working and enjoy realising technically demanding projects
- Experienced with MS Office programmes and MS Project
- Good communication skills in German and English
- Willingness to travel on business
- Qualification for use in the control area
