Your tasks
- Carrying out engineering studies in connection with company-specific products and systems for applications in the field of nuclear power plants (NPP)
- Electrical design in collaboration with the R&D department, including documentation
- Carrying out short-circuit calculations and simulations with PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink or comparable tools
- Design in consideration of EMC requirements
- Carrying out service life and MTBF calculations
- Creation of operating and project documentation
- Creation of parts lists and material lists
- Identification and submission of purchase requisitions
- Creation of technical drawings, production documents and customer-specific documentation
- Examination of project specifications and development of economically optimised, standard-compliant solutions
- Technical coordination with internal departments (R&D, application engineering, project management, sales)
- Technical support for customer and consultant appointments
- Ensuring that all technical information is provided on time
- Preparation of specifications for suppliers and subcontractors
- Carrying out engineering work in accordance with NPP standards (e.g. RCC-E or comparable)
Your profile
- Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or comparable qualification
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable industrial position (ideally in the field of power supply)
- Experience in electrical design and calculation
- Experience with EPLAN
- Knowledge of EMC design
- Experience with simulation software (e.g. PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink)
- Basic knowledge of mechanical design (reading 2D/3D drawings)
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Structured, standards-orientated way of working
