Electrical designer for control and automation technology (m/f/d)
Your tasks
As an E-plan project planner (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the development of electrical engineering concepts and the independent creation of circuit diagrams up to production readiness, including documentation and requirements definition. You will also support the production, control programming and commissioning of the systems internally and, if required, on site at the customer's premises.
These include:
- Creating and developing electrotechnical concepts in collaboration with internal and external customers
- Creation of circuit diagrams and production documents including 3D assembly drawings
- Component design and definition using relevant standards for electrotechnical systems
- Preparation of project-specific documentation, including concept descriptions, specifications, FMEA, proof of functional safety as well as testing and commissioning documents
- Collaboration in the preparation of quotations including cost calculation and scheduling
- Support for control programming
- Accompanying the assembly and commissioning of products in Germany and abroad as well as at the Erlangen site
- Contact with customers and suppliers, e.g. in industrial plants, power stations or at trade fairs
Your profile
- Completed electrical engineering training with further training as a technician
- Several years of professional experience in the field of electrical design
- Very good user knowledge of the e-planning software EPLAN Electric P8 and ProPanel (add-on)
- Ideally in-depth knowledge in the use of the electrical planning tool WSCAD
- Relevant technical experience in electrical design and the associated documentation
- Knowledge of electrical drive, control and regulation technology including relevant regulations
- Knowledge of standards, e.g. DIN EN 60204-1 and DIN EN IEC 61439-1
- Willingness to travel approx. 20 %, including assignments in nuclear facilities
- Class B driving licence
- English language skills at level B1
