Your tasks

  • Carrying out engineering studies in connection with company-specific products and systems for applications in the field of nuclear power plants (NPP)
  • Creation of general arrangement and layout drawings (footprint)
  • Creation of detailed 2D and 3D assembly and assembly drawings
  • Definition and development of interfaces and connection concepts
  • Carrying out environmental and seismic studies (theoretical calculations and monitoring of laboratory tests)
  • Creation of parts lists and material lists
  • Identification and submission of purchase requisitions
  • Preparation of technical documents for project management and internal departments
  • Creation of production drawings and customised documentation
  • Review of project specifications and development of standardised, cost-effective solutions
  • Technical coordination with R&D, application engineering, project management and sales
  • Technical support for customer appointments
  • Preparation of specifications for suppliers and subcontractors
  • Carrying out engineering work in accordance with NPP standards (e.g. RCC-E or comparable)

Your profile

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or comparable qualification
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable industrial position (ideally in the field of design for power supply systems)
  • Experience in the creation of 2D and 3D construction drawings
  • Experience with Solid Edge and SAP an advantage
  • Knowledge in the field of EMC
  • Basic knowledge of electrical engineering (e.g. reading circuit diagrams)
  • Experience with standardised design
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Independent and structured way of working
