Your tasks
- Realisation of mechanical inspections specialising in welding technology
- Monitoring and ensuring the Welding quality (welding supervisor)
- Testing of Weld seams, pressure equipment and heat exchangers
- Monitoring compliance with Standards and regulations (e.g. DIN EN, ISO)
- Monitoring and supervision of Welding work in production
- Cooperation with Quality assurance, production and engineering
- Documentation and creation of Audit and deviation reports
- Support with Acceptances and audits
- 3 months of familiarisation in our metropolitan region
Your profile
- Completed further training as a technician or technical training, e.g:
- Industrial mechanic (m/f/d)
- Plant mechanic (m/f/d)
- Construction mechanic (m/f/d)
- or comparable
- Additional qualification in the field of welding supervision, e.g:
- Welding specialist (IWS)
- Welding technician (IWT)
- Welding engineer (IWE)
- Experience in the Quality assurance / testing in plant engineering
- Knowledge in Welding processes and materials
- Safe handling of technical drawings and test documentation
- Independent and structured way of working
- High willingness to travel
Desirable:
- Experience in Pressure equipment construction or power plant environment
- Knowledge in NDT procedure (VT, PT, UT, RT)
- Experience with Regulations such as AD 2000, PED
